Terms & Conditions

The rules governing OpenFoxy accounts, local software, optional Cloud, advertising, AI outputs, and supported services.

Effective August 30, 2026 · OpenFoxy is operated by CodeGuard Host LLC.

Agreement

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of OpenFoxy websites, accounts, desktop software, local AI features, optional Cloud services, sharing features, OpenFoxy Ads, and other services operated by CodeGuard Host LLC. By creating an account, downloading supported OpenFoxy software, or using an OpenFoxy-operated service, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting credentials, and activity performed through your account. New accounts require email verification before activation. We may request additional verification for advertisers, billing, fraud prevention, or security.

  • Do not share authentication secrets or enrollment tokens.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • We may suspend or restrict accounts for fraud, abuse, security, legal, or material policy reasons.

Local OpenFoxy

Supported local OpenFoxy use is intended to remain free for life when downloaded. This describes OpenFoxy's pricing for supported local use and does not include your hardware, electricity, internet access, third-party services, optional Cloud, advertising spend, or other separately priced products.

Software license and updates

Subject to these Terms, OpenFoxy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the official application for its intended purpose. Official releases may require signed updates for security, privacy, protocol compatibility, fraud prevention, or service integrity.

AI outputs and user content

You are responsible for prompts, files, data, and other content you submit. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, outdated, or unsuitable. OpenFoxy does not guarantee that generated output is correct, unique, lawful, or appropriate for a particular purpose.

Do not rely on AI output as a substitute for qualified professional advice in legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or other high-impact matters.

Optional Cloud and paid services

OpenFoxy Cloud and other paid services are optional and may have separate pricing, usage limits, renewal terms, taxes, and product-specific conditions disclosed before purchase. Local mode does not require a Cloud subscription.

OpenFoxy Ads

Advertisers must comply with the Advertising Policies and Refund & Cancellation Policy. Campaign approval does not guarantee impressions, clicks, conversions, traffic volume, placement, or business results.

Acceptable use

You may not use OpenFoxy-operated services for unlawful activity, fraud, malicious access, malware distribution, exploitation, credible threats, harassment, or infringement. Additional rules appear in the Acceptable Use Policy.

Intellectual property

OpenFoxy software, branding, interfaces, documentation, and service technology are owned by CodeGuard Host LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party services

OpenFoxy may interoperate with third-party payment, email, infrastructure, operating-system, model/runtime, registrar, or other providers. Their products and terms are controlled by those providers.

Disclaimers

OpenFoxy services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free AI output, or compatibility with every device.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeGuard Host LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or losses arising from reliance on AI-generated output.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to OpenFoxy-operated services when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, or material violations of these Terms or related policies.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as OpenFoxy evolves. Material changes may be communicated through the website, account interface, email, or another reasonable method.
