Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for lawful, secure, and responsible use of OpenFoxy-operated services.

Effective August 30, 2026 · OpenFoxy is operated by CodeGuard Host LLC.

Purpose

OpenFoxy is intended to give users broad control over local AI while maintaining reasonable rules for infrastructure and services operated by CodeGuard Host LLC.

Illegal and harmful conduct

You may not use OpenFoxy-operated services to facilitate unlawful activity, credible threats, exploitation, fraud, unauthorized access, malicious software distribution, or intentional infringement of others' rights.

Security abuse

You may not probe, attack, disrupt, overload, bypass, or gain unauthorized access to OpenFoxy-operated systems, accounts, APIs, update services, advertising systems, or billing systems.

Fraud and marketplace abuse

Prohibited conduct includes self-clicking, fabricated traffic, click farms, false identity information, payment abuse, promotional-credit abuse, impersonation, deceptive advertiser claims, or attempts to manipulate billing or fraud systems.

Local AI responsibility

Local AI executes on user-controlled hardware. Users remain responsible for how they use local capabilities and for complying with applicable law and third-party rights.

Enforcement

OpenFoxy may rate-limit, suspend, restrict, refuse, or terminate access to server-operated features when reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security threats, legal obligations, or material policy violations.
